Studying with Distractions...
Your slouching at the dining table, big brother has his music blaring from behind close doors upstairs, the aromas from mom's leftover meatloaf being reheated in the kitchen nearby, baby sister a few meters away rocking and wiggling to the catchy tunes of "Baby Shark" and you can't hep but join in at with "doo doo doo doo's."
You're thinking 'I've read this line like a million times in the last 60 seconds!'
Studies show that to be able to retain information when studying, you have to have a space or an environment that is conducive to this.
Here are some DO's and DON'TS!

Studies show that to be able to retain information when studying, you have to have a space or an environment that is conducive to this.
Here are some DO's and DON'TS!
- DON'T lie down on your bed to study!
- DON'T study on an empty stomach, but DON'T study on a full belly either!
- DON'T study in a place that you usually relax in.
- DON'T study and socialize at the same time.
These are some things that you can DO!
- DO find a quiet space.
- DO sit at a well- lit table.
- DO listen to some softly played classical music if you like to listen to music.
- DO turn off your phone or your social media notifications
